Akshay Kumar's bodyguard punches a fan who asked for a selfie with the star

Being a superstar only means that, besides the glory, name and fame, there comes the truckloads of fan following. Akshay Kumar is definitely one such star who has an immense fan following. Needless to say that, wherever he goes, he does get surrounded by fans galore.

Today, what happened at Mumbai airport is a different story altogether. While Akshay Kumar was walking through the airport, a young man came with his mobile phone requesting to have a selfie with the superstar. Even before Akshay Kumar could react to the situation or oblige his fan, one of Akshay Kumar's hefty bodyguards punched on the young fan's jaw. Neither did Akshay Kumar know that this was coming, nor did the fan.

The gentleman that he is, Akshay wasted no time and tweeted, "What happened that day was unfortunate and uncalled for. I was at the airport and I heard a commotion which made me turn around, I didn't notice anything wrong so I walked on. It was later brought to my notice that my bodyguard had punched a fan. I have reprimanded him and given him a strict warning for the same. My sincere apology to the fan who was hurt. I hold my fans in the highest regard and such incidents are always upsetting. I will ensure such a scenario is avoided in the future."

Salman Khan thanks UP Chief Minister and government

Well, Salman Khan who has wrapped up shooting for the film in UP took to twitter thanking the UP chief minister and the government saying, "Filmed Sultan in muzaffarnagar,cld not hv happened vit out the support of the C M, people, film development Corp, police n admin. 2 much fun."

The actor who apparently shot for some crucial scenes in and around the Morna area in Muzaffarnagar will be seen playing the role of a wrestler in Sultan. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also features Anushka Sharma.

Produced by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films, Sultan is slated to release on Eid in 2016.

Malaika Arora Khan Reportedly Files For Divorce From Arbaaz Khan

This is turning out to be a bad year for relationships in Bollywood. On the heels of several break-ups this year, a rumour that has been public knowledge for the past few weeks seems to have been confirmed: Malaika Arora Khan and Arbaaz Khan have decided to call it quits.
If reports are to be believed, the Chaiyya Chaiyya fame dancer has decided to opt out of her 18-year marriage to actor-turned-director Arbaaz Khan and has allegedly filed for divorce.
Amidst continuous rumours about the trouble in this couple's marriage, Mumbai Mirror reported that, three months ago, Malaika walked out of their Bandra home with 14-year-old son, Arhaan, and rented an apartment in Khar, about three and a half kilometres away.

She reportedly informed Salman and family that she has been single-handedly providing for Arhaan financially; for instance, she's paying his exorbitant school tuition fees. 

The Khan-daan bahu's absence from sister-in-law Arpita Khan Sharma's baby shower and younger sister Amrita's b'day bash in Dubai has worked as fuel to the rumours.
While Arbaaz has time and again taken to social media and denied the rumours of his troubled marriage, daddy Salim Khan has decided not to intervene in the love life of his kids.
"I am a writer... don't ask me about anyone's love affair or break-up reports. I never interfere in the life of my kids. I don't want to talk about it," Salim told PTI.
During the TV show Yaar Mera Superstar, Arbaaz said, "I love Malaika but I'm possessive about her. It wasn't like this when she was younger or I was new into the relationship. She is precious to me. I'm afraid of losing her now."
The couple were currently hosting a TV show, Power Couple and the murmurs grew louder after the duo stopped coming to the sets together.
Unfortunately, Salman Khan's regular efforts to reconcile his brother and sis-in-law's relationship have been in vain.
Malaika first met Arbaaz, while shooting for a coffee advertisement in 1992. The couple fell in love and dated for five years before tying the knot.

The Real Reason 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' Was Pulled Off Air

Colors CEO Raj Nayak, in an interview with Times of India, has finally revealed his reasons for pulling the plug on the popular TV show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ starring comedian Kapil Sharma.
The last episode of the show, that has run successfully and consistently for two and a half years, was aired on 24 January.
Shocking fans across the country, host Sharma announced in December that he has decided to wrap up the show after the channel introduced a competitive programme called ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’.
Nayak made it clear that the controversies between Kapil and the channel were of a private nature and the two parties still held a lot of respect and love for each other. However, he had decided it was time to speak up because “our silence was being misinterpreted.”
Nayak would have you believe that there's no bad blood. He said Sharma was "a nice person" and "extremely talented".
“It was the channel’s decision to call it ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ (originally the show was to be titled ‘Comedy Nights’), as we felt that it would give him a sense of ownership and his loyalty to the show would be 100 per cent,” he said.

Nayak alleged that Sharma had violated his contract with Colors by hosting shows on competitive channels, in addition to renegotiating for higher sums of money. He also claimed that launching ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ was a forced decision taken to compensate for Sharma’s requirements of reducing the episodes to once a week, and to fill in the 10pm weekend slot that Sharma started refusing to do.


In his initial statement revealing the date of the last episode, Sharma had claimed that the channel was giving ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ more prominence and diverting celebrities to the show.

The last episode starring Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur was almost cancelled, however was finally aired after Sharma, and several fans appealed to the channel. Sharma even took to Twitter to appeal to Colors to host the last episode on January 24.

मुंबई. बॉक्स ऑफिस इंडिया की रिपोर्ट्स और और ट्रेड एनालिस्ट तरण आदर्श के tweets को आधार माना जाए तो 2015 में सलमान खान का दबदबा रहा। उनकी दो फिल्में इस साल में रिलीज हुईं और दोनों ही ऑडियंस को खूब पसंद आईं। दोनों फिल्मों से उन्होंने इंडियन बॉक्स ऑफिस पर 528 करोड़ रुपए की कमाई की। इस हिसाब से कमाई के मामले में वे नंबर वन साबित हुए।
